Hi...my name is Angie Chapman and I have been teaching here at the middle school full-time for 2 years and worked with AMI (Accelerated Math Instruction) for a year and a half before coming back into the classroom.  I am from North Carolina (GO HEELS!!) and moved to Texas about 7 years ago as my husband, Doug, relocated with his company.  We have four daughters...Olivia, 17; Caroline, 14; and twins, Elizabeth (Lizzy) and Jennifer, 12.  All are being educated here in the Lake Dallas school district, so your student may know or have contact with them.  Our family would not be complete without our Yorkie, Buddy.  I graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC with a BA in Business Education (Secondary certification) and taught for 3 years at St. Stephens High School.  I took about 14 years off from teaching to parent my children and now am back to help educate yours.  We are members of the First Baptist Church Corinth, so our paths may have crossed if you have ever visited.
