Introductions to teacher and other students will be made at the beginning of class...followed by Classroom rules and Expectations. I will be going over the supply list and the letter for the art fee.

Art supplies will need to be in by Friday, August 26th.

Students will be viewing a video over the art of Masks. When the video is completed, they will begin drawing out their ideas for their project. They will have to meet specific requirements: TBA

Students will be in the library to begin research on the country they will be creating a mask from. They are required to find a mask they like - create on in their own style - and Know WHY that particular type of mask was created. What kind of Ceremony/festival is their type of mask warn.

Friday - if all complete - begin planning how they want to build up their masks.
students will have the choice of using the mold of the face, or simply create from a balloon.
