Students will be working on their boxes this week.
Since they learned how to throw a slab to make the coil pots, reteaching should not be necessary.
Each student will be throwing a slab to cut out the sides, top, and bottom for their box.

Each of the sides will be 3in X 3in
Each of the other two pieces (top and bottom) will be 3 1/2in X 3 1/2in.

These pieces will need to be cut out and placed on the drying racks and covered so they become leatherhard for building.

Day 2: Students will get a demonstration on how to put the boxes together with specifice instructions to follow for success.

They will continue work on boxes all week. By Friday, they should be ready to cut the tops off the boxes - and will have a demonstration by me.

If they are not ready to cut the top off the box, then on Monday, they will have a demonstration.

Boxes will be due (completely constructed) by end of Class next Thursday.
