I was born and raised in Southern Oklahoma where I believe I learned the importance of helping others. I am married to a wonderful wife Amber, who is also a teacher. We have two beautiful children, Jesse who is four and Abigail who is one. They are so special to us and they keep us very busy but we enjoy it. I have been teaching for seven years, two of which I was a middle school coach. I earned my Bachelor of Sciences from the University of Houston in 2002 and recently completed my Masters of Education from Tarleton State University. I am certified as a Generalist 4-8 and also hold a Principal certification. My favorite things to do is spend time with my family, officiate football and to cook. My claim to fame has to be meeting a former President, officiating the 5A state championship football game, and being an extra in two movies.
