The literature book is online, but they are having some technical difficulties right now. Acessing the textbook is not a requirement. It is a supplement to what we are completing in class. It is a scanned copy of the textbook and includes vocabulary flashcards and activities to help your child study.

The reading logs are due every Monday. The first reading log is due August 30. Every student needs to read 100 minutes and fill out a log themself. It needs to include date, book, minutes, and a parent/guardian's signature. There is a form on my download page.

Every Friday there will be a D.O.L. Test. The students will bring home their spiral and a parent/guardian can sign it for three bonus points on their test. There will also be a spelling and comprehension test after each reading unit. Please check the agenda page for specific dates.

Every student should be filling out their table of contents for daily and test. All assignments for a grading period must remain in their binder.

My agenda is on my board daily for the students write down. I also have an agenda page with the daily assignments listed.
