What are Thespians?
The International Thespian Society is recognizes excellence in high school theatre - an honor society for theatre student artists and technicians.
When do the Thespians meet?
Thespian Meetings are held the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month in the Black Box Theatre.
How do I become a Thespian?
To become a Thespian, a student must have earned 10 points, 5 of which must be
acquired at the school where he or she is to be inducted. Students may earn up to 5 points
toward induction in the high school Thespian troupe through participation in community,
childrenʼs, or professional theatre; in other theatre-related disciplines; or through participation in middle school theatre and/or a Junior Thespian troupe.

Induction points should be earned through participation in at least two mainstage
productions, or one mainstage and two one-acts, or four one-acts.
I'm not a Thespian can I attend the meetings?
Yes, everyone interested in the theatre arts are welcome to the Thespian meetings.
