Dear Parents,

Our Language Arts’ Classes are just completing a poetry unit, and as a culminating activity we would like to have a Poetry Café on Friday, May 14. Each student will recite two poems that have been published by poets we have been studying. As in years passed, we would like to have flavored water, frappuccinos, brownies, cupcakes or cookies to make it feel like a real café. If you would like to donate any of the above items, it will be greatly appreciated. If possible, please send in the items on Thursday, May 13, so I can make sure we have enough for all classes! Thank you for your support this year!
