Parents and Students,
Welcome to Lake Dallas Middle School! I am so excited to start the brand new year. Get ready to have fun and learn something along the way!

I would like to remind you of a few things.
1. There should be no gum in Science class. Gum gets stuck to the floor, walls and chairs.
2. No backpacks or bags that are large enough to carry a binder after the 1st week of school.
3. No rubber bands.
4. No sharpies

I know that the dress code is new this year for our 6th grade students. Please remember that students need to have their shirts tucked in and a belt must be worn at ALL times! Please refer to the LDMS website for further explainations.

I want to make your child successful and independent in his/her school career. I am here to help. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

6th Grade Science

Monday through Friday mornings from 8-8:30am. Additional times may be available upon request.

Parents must agree to allow students to stay for tutorials. There are tutorial busses that run in the afternoons at 4:40pm to bring all students home that stay late.

**There will be some weeks that I will have meetings or duty and will be unable to hold tutorials. I will keep the students posted on those dates.

However, please see me before school, after class, and I can always work out some schedule to help you succeed!

The Agenda Tab gives the daily activies of the classroom. It will tell you what we do each day of the entire Six Weeks. Keep up with your child work by reading the information each week.

The Policies and Procedures Tab is where you can find my expecations for the classroom.

The Calendar Tab is a monthly view of upcoming classroom events, tests, due dates.

The Vocabulary Tab will contain vocabulary words, study information, and websites to help increase understanding of vocabulary.

The Cool Science Tab will have links to COOL science sites, experiments and just plain fun!
